Thaiyya lead the party to a camp site, and while she ran off to investigate the area, her partner promptly fell asleep. The party then went about the process of figuring out who would sleep when. Within an hour or resting Crom found a shuriken in his boot, which lead him to waking the party up in time to deal with 4 savage barbarians who went down fairly quickly, but spells were used which would later prove hard to get back. Throughout the fight Tavey attempted to wake up the big cat by variously pulling his tail and jumping on him. The party figured out that it was probably Thaiyya who woke the group up and at her prompting decided to stay where they were. Just about the time the party got settled down again a small force attacked again. This time 2 barbarians with 2 shaman attacked. Again the party made quick work of them but again spells were used. At this point the party with Thaiyya’s input decided to move campsites and sleep in the trees. Thaiyya and Corowa went out and did come scouting. At the old campsite Corowa witnesses female shamans creating zombies from the corpses of their fallen comrades. The zombies proceed to exact their necromantic revenge, but with the party in the trees they were able to slowly but surely take the zombies down. Crom, though, managed to fall out of the tree and proceed to get diseased and beat on fairly hard. At this point there is a long discussion about what to do next and a fair bit of desperation. There was talk of going back the cat camp, or moving forward to the goblin camp which Thaiyya thought was the barbarian’s camp. There was even talk of force marching to the goblins’ camp to ask for help. Tallulah though couldn’t hide Carrach and the party felt he might not like the goblins. Instead the party decides to split camp into two tree stands. One side would attempt to get as much sleep as possible, while the other side would take turns keeping an eye out for trouble and distracting any barbarians who might show up. Luckily, the party was unmolested for 8 hours and was able to rest, with rest they moved through the jungle and on the second night used the same split party formation. Again they made it through the rest. The next day they continued to move to Freeport. Along the way they came across a rickety bridge, which the party started to cross the river. Tallulah, Tavey, Crom and Cainrin made it across. As soon as Tallulah made it she was attacked by more barbarians. Crom turned himself to gaseous and made it across the bridge. Cainrin, already a bird, made it across. After a short amount of fighting Tallulah and Tavey attempted to retreat as two of the barbarians attempted to cut the bridge down. The fight continued but the bridge was cut, Tavey climbed up, while Tallulah was left hanging on the bridge. But Crom, still gaseous, and Cainrin, still a bird, were left on the other side of the bridge with two barbarian shamans.
